Web commerce company NetSuite has acquired OpenAir , an automation software provider. The deal is worth $26 million.
NetSuite says it will continue to develop OpenAir’s established products and will also work on an intregrated NetSuite solution that will combine the two.
“By combining OpenAir and NetSuite, we now have the resources to fully execute on our vision and transform the way services-based companies operate,” OpenAir CEO Morris Panner said.
All of OpenAir’s 56 employees are expected to migrate over to comparable jobs with NetSuite. NetSuite is also opening up a secondary headquarters in OpenAir’s current Boston office.
