Neo-Nazis In Kentucky Accused Of Brutal Murder Of Drug Dealer

A group of neo-Nazis in Kentucky is charged with the brutal murder and dismemberment of a small-time drug dealer, saying that they killed him because they disliked drug dealers.

Three neo-Nazis — Anthony Baumgartner, 23, Stephen Harkness, 22, and Jeffrey Allen, 21 — are accused of luring a 19-year-old college student, Daniel Delfin, into the back of their car. They then choked the man — who was white — and beat him with fists and a metal pipe before dragging him out of the car. There they stabbed him in the chest and rolled his body down a hill where he died in a bush, covered in brambles.

A day later the neo-Nazis went back to find the body, then cut it apart with knives and a hatchet, scattering the pieces in a field and landfill.

“The head, hands, feet and legs,” Detective Jeremy Rosing of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office testified at a court hearing last week, the KY Post reported.

Though traditionally minorities or Jews are seen as targets for neo-Nazis, they an also target whites, Don Terry of the Southern Poverty Law Center pointed out on Salon .

Terry writes:

“The 25-point manifesto of the National Socialist Movement (NSM) makes several hyperbolic ‘demands,’ such as ‘all non-Whites currently residing in America be required to leave the nation forthwith and return to their land of origin: peacefully or by force.’

“But it appears that two Kentucky members of the neo-Nazi group and an accomplice took at least one of the over-the-top mission statements deadly serious.

“Point 17 says, ‘We demand the ruthless prosecution of those whose activities are injurious to the common interest. Murderers, rapists, pedophiles, drug dealers, usurers, profiteers, race traitors, etc. must be severely punished, whatever creed or race.’ “

Police said the Kentucky neo-Nazis believed they were performing a public service by killing the drug dealer.

“Their thing was, we know he deals drugs, we’re against that,” Deputy Tom Scheben, a spokesman for the Boone County sheriff, told Hatewatch today. “They said he was a drug dealer and, in essence, a blight on society.”

Police added that the Kentucky neo-Nazis lured Delfin by telling him they wanted to buy heroin. The three later confessed to police and led them to the body.
