Rebecca Shuttleworth, who today was jailed for life for murdering her son, and her lesbian partner won over $16,000 on the lottery.

Shuttleworth was earlier today jailed for life after she was convicted of murdering her two-year-old son, Keanu, but it has now been revealed that a few months ago she celebrated winning the vast sum at her home in Manchester whilst awaiting trial.

Images have emerged showing Shuttleworth celebrating her partner’s victory, whilst a family friend has reacted apoplectically to the revelation.

The source told The Sun , “It turned most people’s stomachs to see her so happy after the terrible things she’d done. She was whooping and celebrating without a scrap of guilt. She deserves to rot in hell.”

They then added, “Rebecca is an evil, self-serving b****. She should never have been allowed to be a mother.”

Shuttleworth was sentenced to a life in jail today for abusing and torturing her son, Keanu, for several months before he ultimately died from the treatment.

The judge told Shuttleworth, “The jury have convicted you of the brutal murder of your two-year-old son. He was a defenceless child and it was your duty to protect him. Instead you beat him so severely he died a lingering death from his injuries a day or so later. You have also been convicted of cruelty by failing to summon the medical aid he so badly needed.”

The judge also paid tribute to Keanu, stating, “He was a delightful little boy described as a real character, a little entertainer who remained cheerful despite everything.”

There were 37 external and internal wounds , which included bite marks and a fractured skull, on the child’s body when an autopsy was carried out.

Internet users have reacted furiously to the revelation that Shuttleworth won the prize, whilst she was living at her lover, Kurstie Crane’s, home.
