Miley Cyrus is worried that fiancé Liam Hemsworth may leave her at the altar at their upcoming wedding.
According to a new report by In Touch Weekly , Cyrus is allegedly fearful that Hemsworth may have a sudden change of heart about their relationship as their big day nears. She is encouraging her fiancé not to listen to his friends and family when it comes to their opinions on their recent reconciliation.
An insider recently told the site that Miley Cyrus is supposedly “afraid that Liam will leave her because of the massive influence his family has over him.” She has decided to block out the advice she’s been receiving from the couple’s nearest and dearest.
“Miley’s made it clear to him that if this relationship is going to work, they are both going to have to ignore what their friends and family say,” In Touch Weekly’s source alleged this week, claiming that if the two were to split again, Cyrus would “fall apart” from the heartbreak.
“Him dumping her would put her into a very dark place mentally, emotionally and physically,” the site’s source close to Cyrus said. “Miley will fall apart and it will be ugly. She won’t be able to handle it.”
In Touch Weekly’s report that Cyrus is worried Hemsworth will leave her at the altar comes after months of rumors claiming that Liam’s family has been a little skeptical about his and Cyrus’s reconciliation and subsequent engagement.
Just last month, Us Weekly revealed that Miley had transformed into a “domestic goddess” around the couple’s home in order to prove to Liam and those around them that she’s not always the wild child she appears.
According to a source close to Miley, Cyrus “has been cooking and cleaning for Liam” and “waiting on him hand and foot” since the two got back together earlier this year.
“She wants to make sure she keeps him,” the insider said.
However, People previously denied reports that there’s been some family drama brewing for Miley and Liam and claimed that while Hemsworth’s family weren’t too happy about their first engagement, now that the two are older, they’re on-board to see Miley and Liam head down the aisle.
“His family was very hesitant about a marriage in the past, but they really got to know Miley better,” a source told People back in January, adding that “everyone seems excited” that Cyrus and Hemsworth have rekindled their former romance.
And it sounds like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are doing all they can to make their relationship work the second time around.
Hollywood Life revealed last month that although things aren’t always perfect between Miley and her man, the couple now know what it takes to stay together and won’t be falling into any old patterns that sent their romance into the downward spiral that saw Miley and Liam call off their first engagement in 2013.
“At the end of the day they are in love with each other but still have a lot of work to do to make things great,” a source close to Cyrus and Hemsworth revealed to the site, who noted that Miley and Liam are opting to keep their public and private lives separate this time around, which explains why the two have yet to publicly confirm their second engagement.
“They get into fights but one thing they are making sure to do is to keep their relationship separate from their careers. They didn’t do that last time and that is what made the relationship fizzle,” the source claimed of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, “they are really being careful to make it work this time. It is a process they definitely want to succeed with.”
