Miley Cyrus can hang out with her fellow pop stars but she chooses to hang out with rock stars instead. The 23-year-old seems to have a fondness for older rock stars, as seen in recent months. Miley has no desire to work in pop music as she rediscovers her next music era.
Billy Idol

Corey Feldman
Although Corey Feldman, 45, is not a rock star per se, he’s still attempting to be one. Earlier this month, the former 80s teen heartthrob took over the Today Show when he performed his new song “Go 4 It” with his band, Corey’s Angels. Feldman’s performance received a lot of negative buzz and backlash. Viewers took to all forms of social media to mock the actor with memes and animated GIFs.

Wayne Coyne
As most fans know, Miley Cyrus is a good friend of Wayne Coyne, 55, the frontman for The Flaming Lips. Last month, the singer and her rumored fiancé Liam Hemsworth attended Luke Hemsworth’s wife’s birthday with a gold-themed party where things got a little weird, according to Hollywood Life . Coyne took to Instagram to document some of the moments from the bizarre bash, which included outlandish costumes, a gold horse statue, and butt paintings at 5:00 a.m. Some of the NSFW photos can be seen on Coyne’s Instagram account .
Some of the now-deleted photos even included Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s new couple name, referring to them as “Liley.” Cyrus’ fans expressed their disappointment in their new name, exclaiming that it’s not quite as catchy as “Miam,” as noted by Billboard .
At the party, Miley wore a gold jersey over a white T-shirt with a gold medal around her neck and gold sunglasses resting on her head. Liam jazzed it up with gold athletic shorts paired with a Gold Gym’s muscle tank and a bucket hat with a gold marijuana leaf.
Miley Cyrus and Wayne Coyne worked together on their collaborative album, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz . She previously collaborated with the musician on The Flaming Lip’s 2014 album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band tribute band, With a Little Help From My Fwends .
