As promised, Alex Jones of Infowars released the audio version of the interview he did with Megyn Kelly that was supposed to air on NBC this coming Sunday night in its entirety.
LISTEN HERE FOR THE ALEX JONES INTERVIEW
Infowars’ Alex Jones is allegedly so convinced that NBC and Megyn Kelly were going to screw him over with the interview scheduled to air on Sunday that he has decided to beat them to the punch and release his own version of the interview he taped, including behind the scenes footage. Jones, who is widely known as a conspiracy theorist, is said to be concerned that Megyn Kelly is going to misrepresent him, and so he asked NBC to cancel the segment. When the network and Megyn Kelly refused to pull the plug, Jones is said to have taken matters into his own hands, undercutting NBC by airing the interview in advance unedited, tanking Kelly’s ratings.
Even before Megyn Kelly announced that she was going to interview Infowars’ Alex Jones, Jones had a questionable reputation , using his radio show to share his theories on current events that go against the conventionally accepted information. Perhaps the most hurtful rumor spread by Jones was the one about the Sandy Hook massacre. Jones said on his radio show that there were no killings in Sandy Hook and that the media cast the roles of murdered children for their own agenda. More recently, Jones also put the blame for the Manchester bombing on those who attended the Ariana Grande concert calling them “liberal trendies” and saying that they were the ones who raised the white flag to Islamists.
“The same people — God love them — on average who are promoting open borders, bringing Islamists in.”

Infowars’ Alex Jones secretly audiotaped the pre-interview with NBC ‘ s Megyn Kelly and released it today, days before the televised interview was to air in primetime. Jones said he did this because he was convinced that Megyn Kelly was going to misrepresent him in her interview. Tonight on Twitter, Alex Jones posted a statement to tease his version of the Megyn Kelly interview.
“I’ve never done this in 22 years, I’ve never recorded another journalist. I’ve never done this, but I knew that it was a fraud, that it was a lie.”
Jones is now saying that Kelly is an “anti-gunner,” suggesting that she is being driven by her own agenda. On Thursday night’s Infowars , Alex Jones explained why he secretly taped his own version of the Megyn Kelly interview.
“I got it all on tape, sweetheart. I did it to protect myself so I can show what she really did.”

The Infowars host says that Megyn Kelly behaved as if she were obsessed with him.
“What are they going to do, when I’ve got the tapes of what really happened? It was worse than in college in a topless bar when women try to get you to pay for a dance.”
The NBC Megyn Kelly interview with Infowars’ Alex Jones was already tainted due to backlash from many of the Sandy Hook parents who didn’t approve of Kelly giving Jones a platform after the things he said about the tragedy that rocked their lives. Megyn Kelly was supposed to host a Sandy Hook event in Washington, but was asked to step down after her interview with Jones was confirmed.

On his Infowars website, Alex Jones said that Megyn Kelly’s interview was to be a “blatant hit piece,” and so he was going to share his version to beat Kelly and NBC to the punch. Alex Jones said that he decided to run his own interview after he saw the way that NBC was promoting the interview that was supposed to air on Sunday night. Jones said that Kelly was going to make him seem “as bad as Saddam Hussein or Jeffrey Dahmer or Charles Manson,” and so he was not going to allow that to happen. Jones is calling the version that NBC was going to run “a fraud.”
What do you think of Infowars’ Alex Jones running his own interview rather than allowing NBC to air the Megyn Kelly interview as planned? Do you think it is unprofessional to secretly tape your own interview?
