Meadow Walker is back on Instagram, seven months after her father’s tragic passing. According to The New York Daily News , Meadow posted a photo of herself on a beach sporting a great accessory : A smile. The 15-year-old daughter of Paul Walker has posted three things on Instagram since joining the site back in April, but this is the first photo of herself that she has shared. According to the report, Meadow opened a few social media accounts a couple of months ago in order to “combat imposter profiles.”
“Glad to be back,” Meadow wrote along with her beautiful photo. Fans were quick to comment on the post, many wishing her well and letting her know that her father was an amazing person.
Meadow Walker was extremely close to her father. Obviously Paul Walker’s death was devastating to the teen, who spent much of her time with the man that she was lucky enough to call her dad. She has kept to herself and taken time to heal over the past several months, and she sent out a message when she was ready. Her smile speaks volumes to the kind of girl she is — the kind of woman that she will become — thanks (in part) to the way her father raised her.
Upon looking at Meadow’s bikini selfie, one can’t help but notice that she has her father’s blue eyes. There is a lot of him in her and her memories of him will live on forever.
Meadow Walker is believed to be living with her mother, Rebecca Soteros. According to Hollywood Life , Soteros was granted full custody of Meadow back in May. The site believes that Meadow’s “glad to be back” message refers to her geographical location in the pic (likely Hawaii) and not her happiness to be back on Instagram or in the public eye.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Walker left an estimated at $25 million to his teen daughter by way of a will. There was some concern that Walker’s ex was in it for the money and wanted custody of her daughter for reasons beyond why a mother should want to be with her daughter, but Meadow is old enough to understand what’s going on and to protect herself in case something goes awry.
Walker did not leave any money to his family or to his girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard Gosnell.
