Married To Medicine star Mariah Huq has suffered a miscarriage.

Less than one month after it was announced she was expecting twins, the reality star lost her babies. According to a November 11 report by Wetpaint Entertainment , Mariah’s husband, Aydin, confirmed the news on Facebook.

“Thank you for all your well wishes on our pregnancy. It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that we have miscarried. This is by far one of the hardest things that either of us have had to go through, and we are truly saddened by this double loss. We ask that you keep our entire family lifted in prayer, and Mariah a speedy recovery.”

In October, the Married to Medicine star announced her baby news on Twitter, along with a collage of photos.

“In one photo, Aydin poses with the couple’s two children, sporting an ear-to-ear grin and holding up a book titled Twins! and two tiny outfits,” Wetpaint Entertainment reported on October 22. “In the photo next to it, Mariah is seen pretending to be passed out on the floor with the same book on her lap and what appears to be a sonogram photo in her hand.”

In the caption of the photo, the reality star wrote, “We’re pregnant without a doubt! When Mommy heard TWINS she passed OUT!” with the caption, “#Preggers #DoubleTrouble #TwoMore #Twins.”

Although Huq told fans on November 9 that the third season of the Bravo reality series was currently filming, she revealed she would not be a part of it.

In August 2014, Mariah spoke out about her interracial marriage to husband Aydin, who is Bangladeshi. “Having a multicultural family is important for me. You can have the best of both worlds. I’m proud of exposing people to our family and our lifestyle, how we’ve forged it together,” she told S2S , via a Cocoa Fab report. “You can create your own culture, exposing people to other ways of life. That’s really big for me.”

“Be open and open-minded. Think outside the box and love who loves you,” she continued. “[Aydin has] been around different cultures all his life. He was very much exposed to it. We pretty much run a Muslim household pretty much [sic]. We have converged both of our holidays … same thing with food. We cook curry chicken and mac and cheese. We go to church sometimes; we go to the Mosque sometimes.”

Huq’s sad news isn’t the only upsetting Bravo news to hit the web this month. As the Inquisitr reported on November 5, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan recently admitted to suicidal thoughts . Fans will meet Jordan for the first time on Sunday night, when the seventh season of the hit show premiered. On the show, as the Inquisitr reported, Porsha Williams was demoted in lieu of a full-time spot for Jordan.

Married To Medicine Season 3 is expected to return to Bravo in 2015.
