A lot of people may not realize it, but the Mardi Gras season is almost here. Everyone in New Orleans, or Louisiana for that matter, realizes that it isn’t just one day. The season lasts for over two weeks and sometimes closer to a month. That being said, the full Mardi Gras 2015 parade schedule has now been revealed from the first run all the way through Fat Tuesday.
In New Orleans, many look forward to Christmas season for more reasons than gifts, time off, and Santa Claus. The holiday season in December is when King Cakes start being sold and the Mardi Gras stands/bleachers started being put up around the city.
The beads are going to start being thrown soon. The crowds are going to start filing in. Ladders will soon be set up on the sides of the street and everyone wants to know when their favorite Krewes (crews) are going to run, and now they know.
