Lindsay Lohan recently opened up about her drug use and her trips to rehab during a recent pre-rehab interview with Piers Morgan.

The troubled Mean Girls star is currently beginning her 90-day stint at the Betty Ford Center. However, the actress touched base with Piers Morgan prior to heading off to the rehabilitation facility.

During the interview, Lindsay Lohan touched upon a handful of interesting subjects. Included in the discussions were her career, her family, and the number of drugs she has tried over the years.

The actress revealed during her Daily Mail interview that she attended her first therapy session at the tender age of 13. She would try her first alcoholic beverage just four years later.

However, Lohan revealed that her life and career started coming apart shortly after she moved to Los Angeles. While reports have suggested that the Liz & Dick star has a very intense cocaine habit, Lohan stated during her interview that she’d only done the drug around four or five times.

Lindsay Lohan also touched on her experience with rehab, likening to school detention.

“I’ve been court-ordered to do it six times. I could write the book on rehab. Constantly sending me to rehab is pointless. The first few times I was court-ordered to rehab it was like a joke, like killing time,” she explained during her chat with Piers Morgan.

She also shared her thoughts about the court-ordered stint in rehab this summer. Although she viewed the three month stay as a “good thing,” she believes there are better ways for her to receive treatment.

“I can come back afterwards and be fully focused on work. But I think there are other things I could do instead of going to a rehab center that would benefit me more. The best thing they could do for me would be to make me go abroad to different countries and work with children,” she explained.

The Mean Girls star checked into the Better Ford Center ahead of her deadline. However, it remains to be seen how well the actress will take to being forced to stay at the facility all summer.
