Liam Gallagher , the former lead singer of the English rock band Oasis, got incredibly drunk at a London pub over the weekend and then tried to ride a dog like a horse.
He also left without paying his $500 bar tab, which was amassed after he drank several Jack Daniels and Coke with seven friends at the establishment.
They then also knocked back bottles of Billecart-Salmon champagne, which cost around $75 each. As he was leaving with his pals, he then spotted a passing dog and decided to jump on its back.
Emma Ainsworth, a 24-year-old who witnessed the incident, told The Sun , “He was absolutely hammered. He tried to get on the dog’s back and they were just taking little steps – but it just didn’t work. It was really funny.”
Liam and his friends were at The Old White Bear in Hampstead, North West London, when they left the pub without paying.
Another source stated, “The poor waitress serving them was crying when she thought she’d lost all the money, but the pub manager ran after them.”
The manager explained that as soon as he informed Gallagher of the cheque, he immediately paid. The man sounded forgiving, stating, “After £300 of drink you forget things. He was happy to pay straight away when I caught up with him.”
Last month, Gallagher was barred from another North London pub for being too drunk.
The pub’s manager remarked , “We just said we couldn’t serve him because he was too drunk. He was treated like any normal customer. It doesn’t matter who you are are, if we think you are too drunk we will not serve you.”
Gallagher once again failed to make a scene upon this refusal, with a source explaining, “He was fine about it and left without a fuss. He’d been refused a drink earlier in the week, I think it was Wednesday evening. He was slurring his words.”
