The Lamborghini Veneno, the Italian luxury car maker’s top-secret 50th anniversary model is finally out of the bag.
Just days before its official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, a leaked magazine scan revealed the stunning new Lamborghini supercar, which will reportedly cost a whopping 4.65 million.
According to the scan , the forthcoming Veneno — which translates to “poison” in Spanish — boasts a powerful V12 6.5-liter engine producing 740 hp linked to a seven-speed ISR robotized manual gearbox.
It will enable the Veneno to reach a top speed of 220 mph.
The zero-to-sixty acceleration figures, transmission and other such details on the car have yet to be disclosed.
Pistonheads.com notes that only three Veneno models are being produced at a new Lamborghini facility — and all three cars have already been spoken for — featuring a green, white, or red color scheme—the colors of the flag of Italy.
In addition to the Veneno, the $1.15 million McLaren P1, the successor to the Ferrari Enzo, and the $300,000 Rolls-Royce Wraith coupe will also make their debuts at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.
