This year’s Golden Globes wasn’t a huge success, but if there was a highlight, everyone agreed that it was SNL alumni Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader.
While the audience wanted to see more of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, instead they were met with speeches that ran too long and jokes that ultimately fell very flat. It was puzzling that the third time wasn’t a charm for Fey and Wiig, which could be blamed on the production and overall flow of the show.
Kristen Wiig on the other hand nailed it. Wiig and her SNL and Skeleton Twins co-star Bill Hader hit the stage to present the award for Best Screenplay and left being one of the most memorable bits of the night. They were so good together that many hoped their bit was actually a test for next year’s Golden Globes. Everyone agreed they would kill as hosts for 2016.
With that in mind, it’s kind of shocking to hear that Kristen Wiig thought she bombed at the Golden Globes. According to MTV News , who caught with Wiig at Sundance, the comedian turned actress thought she might have bombed it up there.
“It’s funny because you can’t really hear what’s happening when you’re on the stage, and I remember Bill and I when we left were like, ‘Did we just… bomb out there? What happened?’ You can’t tell when you’re out there at all.”
As for rumors that Wiig and Bill Hader might host the Golden Globes, she definitely hasn’t been expecting a call. “I haven’t received the call yet,” she said, laughing.
Here’s what some people thought of Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader’s performance at the Golden Globes.
Can we have Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig present every award for the rest of the night?! #GoldenGlobes

If the entire #goldenglobes were just Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig mocking famous movie lines, I wouldn’t even be mad.
