Are Kristen Taekman and Brandi Glanville starring in their own Real Housewives spinoff? Although Bravo has yet to make any such announcement, the recently-demoted Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Twitter on August 4, where she confirmed to fans it was “happening.”

Kristen Taekman began starring on The Real Housewives of New York City during the show’s sixth season after being recommended for the series by her longtime friend, Glanville, who has appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since Season 2.
Throughout the year, both Kristen Taekman and Brandi Glanville have faced rumors regarding their ongoing roles with their Bravo series, and Glanville recently confirmed she had been demoted, meaning she will appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ‘ sixth season in a part-time role, instead of the full-time role she’s held since Season 3. Meanwhile, Taekman has been rumored to be on the chopping block.
“[Kristen Taekman] has been way too boring. She didn’t bring enough drama to the cast,” a source told OK! Magazine earlier this year.
Then, as the Inquisitr previously reported, a second source came forward, claiming the same to Page Six in June. At the time, Kristen Taekman’s ongoing feud with Bethenny Frankel was said to be a deciding factor in the matter.
“[Kristen Taekman] will probably not be invited back to the show because she doesn’t fit in and her story line is stale. It will be the nail in Kristen’s coffin. Bethenny wants her off the show. She is now the anchor. [Kristen Taekman] is likely departing.”
Meanwhile, Glanville continues to discuss a possible spinoff. Just last month, via MSN, Glanville spoke to Howard Stern about her demotion from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , and teases of new projects coming soon.
“Last year was a really tough year for me because I felt like I played ball with everyone — I gave my all to the show and then when it aired I felt like, ‘Oh my God, they did me no favors in the editing room.’ I got really upset and a little depressed. But you don’t get a say. They’re making a show — they don’t care about us.
I have so much more on my plate than this show, I talked to producers, I really didn’t want to come back. I have other offers to do other things and I said, ‘Listen, I will come back if it makes sense’ — if it’s with Yolanda or of it’s with Kim. Otherwise, I don’t talk to any of the other ladies, and I don’t like them.”
For more Kristen Taekman, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
