Kim Richards has reportedly left rehab after what was likely a 30-day treatment program. Although the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has yet to officially announce her departure, E! News reported Kim Richards was “out of rehab” on July 10.
Also on Friday, Entertainment Tonight revealed why Kim Richards missed her niece’s, Nicky Hilton’s, wedding last week.
“[Kim Richards] was invited to the wedding, but she decided not to go.”
According to the site, Kim Richards entered her fourth rehab program in April after she was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel. However, as fans are aware, Richards didn’t stay at the facility for very long because she was required to be in Mexico just weeks later for her daughter’s wedding. While Kim Richards was expected to return to the facility by the following Monday, she was a no-show, and reportedly chose to instead stay in Mexico for some additional partying. Luckily, she eventually returned to the States — and to rehab.
Entertainment Tonight ‘s source added Kim Richards was “focusing on her sobriety and her health.”
On July 13, Movie News Guide reported Kim Richards’ ex-husband, Monty Brinson, was proud of her for maintaining her sobriety for 38 days. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Brinson applauded Kim Richards for her determination in an emotional Instagram post last week.
As Kim Richards continues to focus on her sobriety, the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has begun filming the series’ sixth season. Lisa Vanderpump and Richards’ younger sister, Kyle, have been spotted filming in Europe, while Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson have been seen in Los Angeles. The rest of the cast of Season 6 has yet to be seen.
Last week, following Kim Richards’ reported exit from the series after five seasons, a source told Radar Online the former child star was in denial about her alleged firing, and had been telling fellow patients in rehab that it was her choice to leave the Bravo reality series.
“[Kim Richards] has been telling her friends in rehab that she was not fired from Real Housewives at all. Pretty much no one believes her. Some of the things that she says, she just seem like she is in such denial.
[Kim Richards] can paint it however she wants. She knows the truth.”
Kim Richards appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in a full-time role for Seasons 1 through 5.
