Kenya Moore says finding out this week that her boyfriend is married came as quite a shock; however, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star firmly believes James Freeman was stepping out with both women at the same time.
While at the Bravo Upfront on Thursday, the former beauty queen took time out on the red carpet to answer questions about the Millionaire Matchmaker marriage disaster. In an interview with Extra TV , when asked if she thinks Freeman was seeing Jaimi Gregory when he and Kenya Moore began dating, the RHOA star says she definitely thinks so now.
“We did the show in November and there’s evidence of me being out and having birthday dinners together. My birthday was at the end of January, so that’s pretty clear, but it is what it is. I’m not the first person that’s been lied to by a man, and I’m not the last. I’m in this fight and I’m a warrior and I just think life twirls on, that’s it.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kenya Moore on Tuesday, May 12, revealed that her Millionaire Matchmaker boyfriend is married . According to the Life Twirls On producer, she found out that James Freeman was married via social media.
“Unfortunately, I just learned today that the man I met and fell in love with from Millionaire Matchmaker was married a week after the show aired. I am astounded and devastated to have learned this of this news VIA social media as opposed to from him directly. However, I still believe in love and my heart remains open to the man God has for me. I wish him well.”
Moore’s comments during the Bravo Upfront directly contradicts Jaimi Gregory’s recent claims to Radar Online that her husband went on two to three dates after filming the Millionaire Matchmaker episode in November and the two did not speak to each other again until in the past two weeks when Kenya reached out to Freeman. Gregory claims the only reason the former beauty queen even reached out to her husband was to suggest the two should get together to “celebrate the high ratings” of their Matchmaker episode, which aired March 22.
“Kenya wrote to him saying that they should celebrate since their ratings were so high. But he told her that he had met someone and fell in love so it wasn’t appropriate for him to talk with her anymore. Kenya wrote to him and told him that he hurt her brand. Of course he didn’t respond to her. But a little more than a week ago she reached out again and told him she needed a favor. When he asked what it was she told him she needed to talk to him in person. He didn’t want to do that so he didn’t respond.”
Patti Stanger also spoke briefly with Extra TV about the matchmaking disaster. According to the Millionaire Matchmaker star, James was definitely single when he hooked up with Kenya Moore.
“He was single when he shot [the show], which was in November. They basically dated, they broke up, he did not date his old girlfriend and marry her… He met a new girl in January, and he ended up marrying her, it was very fast. Bottom line is long distance relationships are tough.”
