Not to be out good-deeded by her fellow diva Nicki Minaj , Katy Perry has teamed up with Mattel to release a limited edition Barbie Doll to raise money for the Project Angel Food charity.
Perry tweeted over the weekend:
“I’m a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world! Bid now and benefit @ ProjAngelFood : dolltasti.cc/tr7jyH “
Like the Nicki Minaj barbie doll, the proceeds will go to benefit Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization that provides meals to people affected by AIDS and HIV.
The Katy Perry Barbie Doll is based off of Perry’s blue hair phase, which is apparently out of style now. Perry recently debuted her latest look. short pink hair, at an event in LA. What do you think of Perry with pink hair?
The price for the Katy Perry doll, which is being auctioned off online by Charity Buzz, is currently at $3200. (The Minaj doll is currently at $3300.)
