Kate Middleton had a pizza party during her stay in New York City. Not only did she have the pizzas ordered, but she enjoyed eating some of it before attending another engagement.
The Duchess of Cambridge ordered the indulgent goodies from Serafina and had them catered to her suite at the Carlyle Hotel. It all happened before she appeared the St. Andrews 600th Anniversary dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
An insider speaks with Us Weekly about the pizza that the Duchess of Cambridge ordered and shares that Prince William had some pizza as well.
According to Us ‘ source, Duchess Kate ordered “three very specific pizzas” which included “a spicy sausage pizza (with no mushroom) and a prosciutto ‘di Fabio’ pizza (with no sliced tomatoes).”
Kate shared the pizzas with a Kensington Palace assistant, her private secretary, Rebecca Deacon, and hairstylist, Amanda Cook-Tucker, while she was getting ready for a formal appearance.
The report reminds readers that after the duchess gave birth to Prince George in July 2013, William ordered “two Pizza Express pizzas be delivered to their room at the Lindo Wing (at London’s St Mary’s hospital),” a source told them at the time.
William and Kate have been spotted buying frozen pizzas at the grocery store over the years. The two reportedly like the delicious treat and don’t hesitate allowing themselves to feast on it now and then.
Duchess Kate made headlines for her “eye roll” when she was wrapping presents for underprivileged kids at a NYC engagement Monday morning. An unidentified lady told her to “keep wrapping” packages and that caused the duchess to make a joking eye roll at the person sitting next to her. As for the “breach” of royal protocol that occurred with the duchess when NBA player LeBron James put his arm around Kate during a photo shoot, a senior communications officer for Buckingham Palace sets the record straight on all the criticism aimed at LeBron. Laura King tells Cleveland.com that there’s essentially no royal protocol.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge very much enjoyed their time in the US, including attending the NBA game and meeting LeBron.”
“When members of the Royal Family meet people they want them to feel as comfortable as possible. There is no such thing as Royal protocol.”
