Kate Middleton’s “ labor day ” should happen sooner rather than later if her baby is on time, and while it may seem like just yesterday the royal bundle revealed its presence through Kate’s bout with hyperemesis gravidarum, July 11 is said to be when the tot is expected, give or take.
While Kate Middleton’s labor will probably be as hush-hush as her early pregnancy days, the royal mom-to-be didn’t totally hide away during her with-child days.
As such, gossip spies with Kate Middleton deets have spilled to American mags, talking about how Kate Middleton’s birth plan may involve a copter flight — adding that like many moms (or mums), the Duchess still can’t really believe she’s going to give birth soon.
Us Magazine reports that a Kate Middleton insider says William and the royal mama are just like any other expectant parents — excited, nervous, and really unsure of what the baby thing is actually going to be like.
Kate’s pal tells the mag that Middleton is “really enjoying her final weeks of pregnancy,” but even at the end with the baby’s birth rapidly approaching, she’s said to be incredulous:
Kate finds pregnancy fascinating … She still says, ‘I can’t believe it’ when you talk about a baby being inside her.
(Okay, on behalf of all moms, generally that’s a pretty intrusive conversational topic. Poor Kate.)
The source also indicates Prince William is as curious as Kate is when it comes to the baby care thing, and like most parents awaiting a baby’s birth, they’re full of questions as Middleton’s labor approaches:
“They’re both so excited and have so many questions … they want to know what the baby will look like and who it will take after.”
As Kate Middleton’s labor date draws nearer, the Duchess has taken leave of her official duties and headed up to Wales to be with her royal sweetie — where a helicopter is expected to be sent, per the mag, should the already famous tot make an early appearance. (A chopper spin in labor actually sounds terrifying, Prince or not.)
