Here’s Houston in his own words.
“They told me at the end of the season to be patient and we’ll get a deal done, just be [patient] and just wait and time will take care of it. That’s what I did. I sat back and waited for them.
To me it was very important. I like Coach (Andy) Reid a lot. He’s a great coach. He’s helped motivate me and pushed me to become a better player. Anytime you get around that kind of coach you love playing for him.”
Last season, the 26-year-old Houston led the NFL in sacks, with 22.
During his four professional seasons, the former third round pick out of the University of Georgia has recorded 48.5 sacks, has forced seven fumbles, and has one interception to his name.
