Justin Bieber is set to perform his smash single “What Do You Mean?” on an upcoming episode of The X Factor in Australia.

The announcement was made by the official Twitter account of the seventh season show on Thursday, although no date was revealed for the Biebs’ forthcoming appearance.

However, it’s likely the superstar’s The X Factor spot will take place during the 21-year-old’s scheduled visit to Australia as part of his ongoing promotional tour.

As previously reported, Bieber will visit Sydney and Melbourne between September 27-30 in support of “What Do You Mean?” and his new album , which will be released on November 13.

While he’s Down Under, the heartthrob will perform live from a custom-made, so-called “Bieber Island” on Sydney Harbour on September 30 for a special iHeartRadio Live Performance.

Two days before (September 28), the singer will play a rooftop show in Melbourne.

Straight after Australia, Bieber will head to nearby New Zealand to play an acoustic show for 150 people at an as-yet-to be revealed location on October 1, the New Zealand Herald reports.

Tickets for the show can’t be bought. They are only available through local radio station, The Edge , which is hosting a competition with tickets as prizes.

Bieber was last in New Zealand in 2013 as one of the last stops on his Believe tour. The Canadian also visited back in 2012 and 2010.

So there’s a lot of Bieber coming for Antipodean fans. Not least of which, The X Factor Australia, which should be a ratings draw for the popular Seven Network show.

Meanwhile, the singer kicked off his whirlwind promotional tour last week in Berlin, Germany , before he moved on to Paris, France , then the U.K., and Amsterdam.

“What Do You Mean?” is the first cut off Bieber’s new album. After quickly taking top spots on iTunes in record-breaking time following the release of the single on August 28, the track topped Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart, making the Biebs the youngest male solo artist to do so in the chart’s 57-year history.

It also set a new record as the most-streamed track on Spotify with over 21 million streams in its first five days after release.

Significant No. 1’s on national charts in the U.K. (the single has just returned to No. 1 in England and has gone silver), Asia, Australia , New Zealand, and Ireland followed. “Mean” is currently still No. 1 on the U.S. Singles Sales Chart on iTunes three weeks after release, and No. 3 on the Hot 100.

The song is performing well with pop radio listeners and on a spectrum of charts, Mediabase reports.

Despite ante- raising efforts by a disingenuous press, diligently escalating anything the singer says and does to fit a negative narrative , Justin Bieber’s comeback and new music renaissance continues.
