Justin Bieber has teased his officially unconfirmed appearance at the Ultra Music Festival, which kicked off Friday in Miami, Florida. He is expected to debut the first live performance of “Where Are Ü Now” during Skrillex’s headlining set on Sunday with Jack Ü partner Diplo also guesting.
Earlier today, the 21-year-old Instagrammed and tweeted a video of himself and longtime choreographer Nick DeMoura rehearsing a dance sequence to “Where Are Ü Now.”
As the Inquisitr first reported, after following up Twitter chatter claiming Bieber told a group of random fans that he will be performing at the Ultra Music Festival , a source affirmed this is the case.
Your EDM subsequently reported Ultra organizers offered a “no comment” response to their inquiries, which isn’t unexpected given Justin Bieber’s profile and the massive traffic and police logistics ahead of and during the festival.
“Where Are Ü Now,” is the Biebs’ gorgeous collaboration on the Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü album. It garnered stunning reviews in most quarters on release, despite previous misgivings from some of the duo’s fans.
Currently at No.9 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, the track is the highest streamed joint from the Skrillex & Diplo Present Jack Ü album on SoundCloud, with over 7 million plays to date.
Between February 23–March 2, “Where Are Ü Now” was the second most streamed track on Spotify globally and the third highest in the U.S. during the same period, the Associated Press reported. From March 2–8, it reached No. 9 on Spotify’s Top 10 Most Viral Tracks in the U.S.
Meanwhile, Jack Ü’s album is sitting at No.7 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart after debuting at No. 1 in the week ending March 14.
The Biebs hinted he will be in Miami this weekend with a tweet posted on Thursday. While giving nothing away about the gig, Diplo and Skrillex’s replies indicated a meet up was on the cards.

Bieber’s nuanced response to YourEDM’s tweet of their report on the Biebs-Skrillex-Diplo-at-Ultra-Music- Festival buzz, which also tagged in Ultra, is as officially definitive as things may get until the very last moment before Skrillex takes the stage on Sunday.
