Justin Bieber performed at a secret acoustic show for fan Kate O’Neill , a Belieber who was injured in a car crash. The show took place in Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday night and was hosted by VEVO.

The 19-year-old singer was made aware of Kate’s plight through a social media campaign run by her friends called #JustinVisitKate.

In addition, the pals met up with the teen star at a Sydney Meet and Greet event, during which he and members of his team held up photos of O’Neill .

Kate, also 19, is the co-head of the Melbourne Bieber Team which fundraises for the pop singer’s favorite charities, the Herald Sun reports.

She spent nearly $3000 on tickets to see each Believe tour concert in Australia, but was unable to go after she was critically hurt while traveling as a passenger in a car that hit a tree at 100 km/h in November.

Her injuries included four broken ribs, a fractured spine in three places, and internal bleeding and lacerations to her kidney and liver.

Kate credits Justin and his music as the motivation during her recovery .

One tweet posted by the teen before she met the singer revealed her despondency about missing out on a chance to meet her idol at a Meet and Greet before his Melbourne show on December 2.

On Dec 2, both Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun hinted that plans for the star to meet Kate were afoot in tweets.

Then, on Wednesday, Bieber tweeted O’Neill directly and followed her account.

His first message simply said, “hi (sic).”

This led to an explosion of messages on O’Neill’s timeline over the following few hours. Some from a euphoric Kate and many from the over 33,000 users who now follow the famous teen.

Hours of Internet silence followed. During that time Hot Hits reports,

“Earlier today a group of Beliebers were driven on a bus to a secret location, while a car was arranged to transfer Kate and her family from hospital to a special VEVO event where Justin would perform.”

The Canadian star dedicated the entire acoustic show to Kate.

Hot Hits, who were at the acoustic show, described it as “one of the most touching things we have ever seen,” adding, “Justin seemed just as excited to meet her.”

On Twitter, Kate revealed phones weren’t allowed in the concert but said the crew took snaps with her, many of which have now reportedly been sent to her.

The Melbourne Believe Team also took to Twitter to reveal Bieber’s message to his fans.

“I love my beliebers so much. They are always there for me and have done so much for me,” the pop star said before leaving. “It was so special to be able to give something back, especially to an amazing fan like Kate. It is what my believe tour is all about.”

At her Twitter account Kate described how Justin gave her his guitar pick, serenaded her in “One Less Lonely Girl,” and told her he loved her while offering words of encouragement.

Some time after the private show, Justin sent various tweets to Kate, writing,

“That was fun and all for you Kate. Love u @BieberMelbourne. Stay strong,” adding, “Today was a great day (sic).”

Bieber has just two shows left to perform in Australia.

Next up, is Adelaide on December 5 before he wraps his mammoth Believe tour on December 8.
