Skrillex closed the Ultra Music Festival during his history-making headline set on Sunday night in Miami, Florida with surprise guests including Justin Bieber, Jack Ü partner Diplo, P. Diddy, Kiesza, DJ Snake, Kai and South Korean rapper CL.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Justin Bieber and Diplo would join Skrillex at UMF, and the trio tweeted hints . But, right up the last minute, no-one knew the EDM titans’ show would feature so many major name guests in the grand finale.

After Skrillex tore down for the first 45 minutes of his set, he opened his show up as Diplo jumped atop the decks. What followed were appearances from DJ Snake on “Turn Down For What,” singer Kiesza on “Take Ü There,” a hilarious maverick turn from Diddy, rapper CL. Then, the Biebs.

Reportedly recovering from strep throat, Justin lip-synched to “Where Are Ü Now,” his hit collaboration with Jack Ü. He made no pretence about singing live. There was no artifice.

Just pure joy from the Jack Ü duo, their guest artists, and the euphoric crowd.

The all-black clad, 21-year-old superstar ghosted the opening verse, breaking into a dance sequence onstage when the beat dropped.

Meanwhile, Diplo, Skrillex, and a — by now, virtually horizontal Diddy — ramped up the already wild crowd.

Justin proceeded to jump around enthusiastically at various points during the song. And his mad scramble for the mic after putting it one the floor was adorably goofy.

As “Where Are Ü Now” drew to a close, Justin clambered atop the decks where Skrillex and Diplo (as Jack Ü) closed down the 2015 Ultra Music Festival in a vibey, thrilling sign-off.

This was capped by fireworks, flag-waving, and even more intense lights from the multi-screen.

Local Miami press reports appear shocked at the deluge of famous names in Skrillex’s set.

But iconic finishes are something of an UMF tradition. And this year was no exception.

In addition to a lineup of world-class DJ’s such as David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Steve Angelo, Eric Prydz, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and more, surprise vocalists included veteran R&B superstar Usher, who performed “Don’t Look Down” with Garrix, and Ariana Grande who performed new single “Adore You” with Cashmere Cat. They are supporting the petite songstress on her Honeymoon Tour.

Due to impressive streaming stats of Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now” on Spotify, iTunes, and SoundCloud, it is currently No. 4 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs Chart, and No. 9 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

The Biebs, later turned up in Miami’s LIV nightclub after thrilling at Ultra with Skrillex and Diplo, where he was seend partying on tables and with rappers Nikki Minaj and Meek Mill, along with pals.

After guesting at Grande’s Miami show on Saturday, all in all, it was a blazer of a weekend for Justin Bieber, whose 2015 comeback feels like it’s now officially on the ascent.
