Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Rolling Stone, and more have been put through Sharon Osbourne’s F-Bomb wringer in an incendiary new interview with The Daily Beast .
And it’s quite the read.
The recently returned The X Factor UK judge and The Talk co-host deposited her 10 cents worth on most of the hot topics de jour , and sounded like she had fun doing it.
The infamous, reality show star, matriarch and wife/manager of Brit rocker Ozzy Osbourne, is also prepping an apparently explosive, ghostwritten autobiography expected to blow the lid off her once X Factor rival judge Danni Minogue’s (“She’s insignificant”) romance with lead judge Simon Cowell.
So, take-no-prisoners territory, then.
Asked for her take on Bieber, who she previously said won’t “stand the test of time,” she offered more grim predictions.
“I feel really bad for him,” Osbourne began . “There’s this little kid with a huge dream, he’s cute, girls love him, and he wants to be a mean boy, and he’s about as mean as a f**kin’ kitten, and he’s trying to act out.”
She continued: “It’s like pissing in a bucket . It’s like, ‘Oh, we’re the bad boys!’ F**k off! You don’t know what bad is. And I think that he’s lost, I really do. I think he doesn’t realize he’s white and not black, that’s a huge problem.”
“And, at the point he’s at in his career, it’s so dangerous because we’ve seen it all before a million times. Where do you go when you’re a child entertainer and then you want to transition to be a man? Very few make it,” the TV maven added.
Simplistic, stay in your lane, borderline racist opining? Harsh and judgmental? Bieber’s family, who spoke out recently to say they think their boy is being “picked on,” would surely think so. Others — not so much.
And she was by no means done with the Canadian. Referring to her 31-year marriage, rumored to have teetered close to collapse earlier this year after Ozzy relapsed on a booze-and-drugs binge, Osbourne compared her troubles to Bieber’s ongoing adolescent odyssey .
“Probably when Ozzy was drinking and I was drinking when we first got together,” she recalls .
“It was f**kin’ insanity. Everything from slashed wrists to beating the s**t out of each other. We were both wild. That’s why I look at people like Justin Bieber, who says he’s a wild boy, and I’m like, ‘Get back on the titty. You have no f**kin’ idea what bad is.’ My father was a f**kin’ two-bit gangster and I was raised into some heavy s**t .”
West fared no better:
“I have no time for him,” Osbourne remarks.”He bores me. I said it on the show, he’s an average-looking man with an average talent, but he’s a great salesman. He should sell cars because they would f**kin’ fly out the door. He’s his No. 1 fan.”
On the genius that is aspirant Mayor Anthony Weiner :
“I think he wrote something on his penis and sent a picture of it,” she tells TDB. “Was it ‘Big Dirty?’ Fabulously insane. I mean, this guy is out of his f**kin’ mind . What is going on? We’ve got the mayor of San Diego and the guy running for mayor of New York City and they’re both out of their f**kin’ minds!”
Osbourne didn’t hold back on Rolling Stone magazine’s recent decision to feature Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on their cover, saying:
“I think it’s absolutely disgraceful. They made him look like a rock star. I thought it was Serge from System of a Down at first… They have great journalists at Rolling Stone, but if you want to cover this, put the victims on the cover…”
Later, she adds: “Rolling Stone used to be a f**kin’ magazine, now it’s like a tear sheet. There’s nothing there. Just go online and cut to the f**kin’ chase. Don’t lower your standards and strive for sales.”
So did Osbourne have kind words for anyone?
Taylor Swift was praised as a “brilliant… role model for young people,” Timberlake “the best all-rounder,” Barbara Walters “an amazing woman,” the 60-year-old also said her preventative double masectomy last year was “nowhere near” as grave a decision as Angelina Jolie’s.
“She had lost her mother and her aunt to it,” Osbourne noted , “and she has all those babies to take care of. I’ve had my life, and she hasn’t yet.”
Commenting on the ongoing speculation that her marriage was tanking over Ozzy’s addictions, she said firmly:
“It’s not a case of divorce. I would never divorce my husband. Ever. I love him too much. He’s far from perfect, and I’m even further from perfect, but I’ve known him for 42 years, and we’ve been a couple for 33. That’s my life.”
She quipped: “You just don’t walk away from people because they have a problem — unless they write on their c**k and send it all around the world!”
Of those enduring tales of her past habit of posting feces in a Tiffany box to those who incurred her wrath, Osbourne merely said:
“I did it three times only, and I did it in the early ’80s, and I’ll never do it again. And it wasn’t for bad reviews. People can review and it’s their opinion and you never argue with it, but when they print lies, I’m like, ‘I’m not standing for that s**t. So I’ll send you s**t.’”
If nothing else, it certainly puts Bieber’s recent emissions into perspective.
