Pop singer and teen sensation Justin Bieber is being investigated by Canadian authorities after he apparently assaulted a woman with a Nerf gun.
TMZ reports that while the Biebs was in Ottawa, a female security guard at the venue he was performing at filed a police report claiming that the singer (or someone in his entourage) assaulted her. She said that she was hit with “something” which ended up being a Nerf gun dart.
Still, police are taking this assault very seriously, and have been in the process of interviewing several eye-witnesses.
This isn’t the first time the Biebs has been on the wrong side of the law this month, reports NME . In fact, it’s not even the first time this month he’s being investigated for assault . His former bodyguard is apparently trying to sue the singer for allegedly taking a swing at him.
Moshe Benabou’s lawsuit against Justin Bieber is seeking an unspecified amount in damages for the assault accusations, we well as more than $420,000 in lost overtime and other wages, which he says he’s still owed.
A previous lawsuit against Justin Bieber held him responsible for damaging a woman’s hearing, but that suit was thrown out. Good thing, too. It probably would have set him back $9 million.
Personally, I don’t really understand all of these continuing lawsuits against Justin Bieber. Most of them really seem like they are filed by desperate individuals who want a piece of the Bieber pie. I mean come on, Ottawa security lady. There are thousands if not millions of teenage girls who would kill to be shot with a Nerf dart by Justin Bieber.
