Justin Bieber is counting down to the release of his new single “Heartbreaker,” with just four days to go until it touches down at midnight on Sunday (Oct. 7)

Somewhere between performing in Bangkok, Thailand and traveling to China on the Asia leg of his Believe world tour, the 19-year-old told his 45 million plus Twitter followers:

“Gonna have to let u know something big before I head to china (sic).”

Initially, the Interwebs blazed with fans speculating the countdown was for the first trailer for the “Baby” star’s upcoming movie-docu Believe , or announcement of a duet to tie-in with Miley Cyrus imminent Bangerz album release.

Justin’s next message “#10days,” posted last Friday impliedly marks October 7 as D-Date for the pop prince’s big surprise. The following message “5days” went up four days later.

Then, finally, all was revealed.

Earlier today, the teen star tweeted : “Sunday Midnight #heartbreaker #MusicMondays #10weeks,” and indicates Bieber will be rolling out new music every Monday for ten consecutive weeks starting this Sunday/Monday at midnight.

First announced in June, “Heartbreaker” will be the first single from the singer’s new album which is expected to be called #Journals .”

To date, the song has been teased for a few seconds in Instavids and in a commercial for Justin’s latest fragrance, The Key.

As the countdown ticks down, manager Scooter Braun , Believe tour deejay Tay James, producers Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd and R&B titan Rodney Jerkins — both of whom flew to Bali and Singapore to work with Justin — Alfredo Flores, and others in Team Bieber have been making their presence felt online.

Both Braun and Bieber uploaded previously revealed artwork for “Heartbreaker,” as well as other Instagrams designed to whet Beliebers’ appetites for the new music to come.

Braun, who revealed he is currently in London, England, may have been referring to Justin’s new songs when he tweeted,

The boy wonder himself followed up his “Heartbreaker” tweet by posing a question and linking to an Instagram of the now familiar artwork.

In recent months, Bieber has been reported at or snapped in studio sessions with names such as Future , Pharrell Williams, Tyler, The Creator, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, R. Kelly and Jerkins, amid an intriguing snap with Snoop Lion which may or may not mean a guest spot from the veteran rapper.

The Canadian superstar is next scheduled to play Shanghai on Saturday, before heading to Japan, South Korea and Macau. In October, Justin will kick off the Latin America leg before hitting Australasia in November for the last stretch of his mammoth, 15-month trek, wrapping in Perth on December 8.

Bieber’s Believe movie is expected to hit theaters this Christmas.
