Justin Bieber’s unfeasibly eventful weekend saw the 19-year-old juggling bras, a hookah bar, a shockingly short stay at a club, and become a co-defendant in a lawsuit with one of his reportedly packing bodyguards.
On what turned out to be a fairly fraught Saturday, the singer and his security team rolled up to Hollywood’s Lure nightclub and tried to join the fun at their Toxic Luau Beach Day party night.
It didn’t go so well.
According to E! News , a source said someone at camp Bieber had called ahead to say the singer would be in attendance. Lure duly informed the inquirer that the teen would be denied entry to the 21-and-over night.
Undaunted, Bieber showed. Reportedly, The Game gave the game (I’m here all week) away by announcing the Canadian’s arrival while rapping onstage. “That’s when security saw him and escorted him out immediately. He left right away, he seemed really embarrassed,” added E! News’ source.
Possibly licking his underage wounds, at some point either before or after the Lure debacle, Bieber and his wingmen alighted at a Hollywood hookah lounge.
However, that didn’t go too well either. An individual in the lounge tried to take a picture of the Biebs, and well you can guess the rest. The bodyguards stepped in and allegedly some sort of scuffle with the would-be snapper took place.
Police arrived at the scene after the “victim” called them, but as is his wont, the temporal teen star and his security had already left the building.
On a more serious note, Bieber’s allegedly triple paparazzo love-in in Miami has now resulted in news of one lawsuit, a parallel police investigation and perhaps more on the way.
According to TMZ — who have been trailing the singer’s exploits with nothing less than heroic attentiveness — Jeffrey Binion, a photographer who insists he is not a paparazzo, claims he was harassed and threatened by Bieber’s guards at the teen star’s bidding.
Naming both Bieber and one of his guard’s, Hugo Hesny, in the suit, Binion says he was thrown against a wall by Hesny after he took (or tried to) take snaps of the singer in the parking lot at Miami’s Hit Factory recording studio on June 5.
Binion claims Hesny grabbed him in a choke hold and “displayed” his gun while another guard removed a memory card out of his camera. Naturally, he and his attorney are now citing multiple distresses plus medical expenses as a result of the photog’s alleged ordeal and are seeking punitive damages.
An opening gambit statement from Binion’s lawyer, Russell S. Adler, blistered:
“Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people.”
Adler added : “Bieber’s violent behavior toward photographers must end and he should take responsibility for his actions. No amount of fame or fortune justifies Bieber’s shameful and outrageous conduct. To send him that message and deter his misbehavior in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law.”
Sunday seemingly found Bieber in pensive mood after a weekend that also included a trip to Disneyland and Miley Cyrus’ pad .
Posting an Instagram of a single, beige-colored bra lying on a stage framed by delirious, female fans at some date-less Believe tour show, his caption read: “I guess everyone grows up.”
Although referring to his aging fans, somehow it perfectly encapsulates the child to adult theme of Bieber’s weekend.
