A Jurassic Park 4 location shot was revealed this week giving dinosaur fans their first glimpse at the new movie.
There isn’t much known about the plot of the fourth Jurassic Park movie but the new location shot does give a small hint about the action. The picture, which was posted on Twitter by director Colin Trevorrow , shows the landscape from the original Jurassic Park island Isla Nublar.
The two sequels took the action to Isla Sorna, or Site B, but the new movie will return to the original island.
The Jurassic Park wiki reads : “Isla Nublar is a remote island about 120 miles (190 km) off the west coast of Costa Rica, which is only 87 miles away from Isla Sorna. The island was intended to to be the site of Jurassic Park. It was to be a tourist attraction featuring living biological dinosaurs cloned from pre-historic DNA. The park was controlled from the Visitor Center. The sequence of disasters that led to the closing of Jurassic Park is nicknamed the Isla Nublar Incident.”
No other details have been revealed so far but the Jurassic 4 location photo does raise a few questions.
What does the deserted amusement park look like after 20 years? Has another company returned to try and re-open the park? Has the park already re-opened? Will John Hammond have to call in Dr. Malcolm, Dr. Alan Grant, or Dr. Ellie Sattler to restore order? Will grown up Tim and Lex be at the center of the new movie?
Will there be any new dinosaurs? Film consultant Jack Horner confirmed that there will be a new dinosaur that will make you “want to keep the lights on after you see this movie” but he didn’t identify the creature.

Does that look familiar? How about now?
The new movie is shooting in Hawaii this Summer. The movie is scheduled for release sometime in 2014.
