Josh Murray Joining ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Cast: Andi Dorfman’s Ex Heading To ‘Paradise’ After ‘Famously Single’ Premiere [Report]

Josh Murray isn’t giving up on love, at least when it comes to searching for his soulmate on television. More than a year after Josh and Bachelorette Andi Dorfman announced that their engagement was officially off, the Advocare distributor is returning to the spotlight.

Murray, 31, is one of eight celebrities who will appear on the E! reality dating series Famously Single (preview video below) that premieres on June 14, but he’s not stopping there.

Although ABC has not officially confirmed the complete cast, blogger Reality Steve states that Josh is in talks to join Bachelor in Paradise this summer and would be part of what Steve calls an “all-star cast” (see cast list below). Interestingly enough, Murray met with the show’s producer, Elan Gale, last month, captioning a photo of the two of them with the hashtag #Hmmmm.

Josh has done his best to stay in the spotlight since his relationship with Andi fizzled out in January 2015. He has been very active on social media, keeping his fans in-the-know about his life with his close-knit family and his main squeeze, his dog Sabel who recently was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Just one month after getting slammed by Andi in her new book, It’s Not Okay , Murray seems to be taking his ex’s accusations in stride. Although Dorfman wrote that he was an “emotional abuser” with a “nasty temper” and gave the dirty details about some of their other relationship issues, Josh didn’t lash out at her.

Instead, he wished her well in a statement released to the media and moved on to Plan B… more TV time and possibly, a new love story.

“It saddens me and is very unfortunate that Andi has chosen to characterize me in such a negative way. I respect the private relationship we had for those 8 months and I wish her nothing but the best. I pray she finds peace and happiness in her life.”

Filming for the third season of Bachelor in Paradise gets underway in the next few weeks, very close to the June 14 Famously Single premiere date. Filming lasts just three weeks, so Josh wouldn’t have to spend much time away from his dog to appear on the show.

In past seasons, there is an initial cast of 15-16 Bachelor franchise stars who appear on the Paradise premiere, followed by additional guys and girls who show up at the tropical resort on subsequent episodes. Josh could be there for the full three weeks or for a shorter period of time, depending on whether he makes it to the finale or gets eliminated on an earlier episode.

If Reality Steve ‘s hunches are right, Josh won’t be the only blast from the past showing up in Paradise this summer. Jef Holm , who was briefly engaged to Bachelorette Emily Maynard (Season 8) is also rumored to be in talks with producers to appear on the show.

Who else will be joining the Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 cast this summer? The only three names confirmed by the show’s creator, Mike Fleiss , are Caila Quinn and Lace Morris from Ben Higgins’ season, and Ben Zorn from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of the Bachelorette .

However, Reality Steve states that he’s also heard that nine more girls from Ben’s season (Emily and Haley Ferguson, Izzy Goodkind, Jennifer Saviano, Olivia Caridi, Jami Letain, Lauren Himle, Amanda Stanton, and Leah Block) and at least eight guys from Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher’s season (spoilers in link) will be part of the Paradise cast.

And that’s not all. Fans may see several Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 stars return for another shot at finding love or stirring up drama including Carly Waddell, Ashley Iaconetti, JJ Lane, JJ Lane , Joe Bailey, and Jared Haibon.

ABC’s popular summer reality show premieres on August 2, just one day after Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher hands out her final rose. Would you like to see Josh Murray join the cast?
