Josh Duggar has become the most controversial member of the 19 Kids and Counting clan. Once known only as the oldest son of the popular reality TV Duggar family, Josh became a household name after reports surfaced that Duggar had molested several underage girls, including some of his own sisters. Josh apologized to his wife, Anna Duggar, and two of the sisters he molested, Jessica and Jessa Duggar, appeared on TV to say that they forgave their brother.
But the timeline of Josh’s scandals expanded when Duggar was nailed for being linked to the Ashley Madison website for infidelity after the hackers shared the data. And when Josh confessed to cheating on his wife, he also admitted he was addicted to porn. Now Josh is in sex rehab, and Anna Duggar may finally have arrived at the decision to divorce him, according to She Knows .
The newest rumors concerning a divorce between Josh and Anna have resulted from the sale of their home in Arkansas. A friend purchased the house following the news that Duggar had been linked to Ashley Madison and been unfaithful to Anna.
After Josh entered the Bible-based treatment center for issues such as addiction to porn, Anna has fled from the Duggar home state to Florida. She’s been with her parents, who have taken in their daughter and her four children.
Although Josh will exit the rehab in February, an insider revealed that Anna may never return to her husband.
“Anna could be gone for good,” said the source.
Adding fuel to the fire of permanently fleeing is her brother Daniel Keller. He wants his sister to stay away from Duggarville because he is aware that the Duggar family believe Anna should stay with Josh.
And now Anna may have new reasons to side with her brother, as a result of the 19 Kids matriarch.
As the Inquisitr reported, Josh’s mother, Michelle Duggar, just shared a blog that she wrote on the responsibilities of wives in the marriage, and many interpreted it as a slam at Anna.
The Duggar family reportedly follow the Quiverfull value system, which views men as being unable to control themselves if (a) a woman refuses to have intimate relationships with her husband, or (b) a woman wears revealing attire. And Michelle’s latest Duggar family blog holds true to those tenets.
To be successful at marriage, Michelle tells wives that they must be available for their husbands 24/7. Josh and his brothers learned that their wives should not just be available, but be joyful about submitting to their desires, regardless of whether the women feel tired or are having a miserable pregnancy.
And it’s not just some of Michelle’s followers who read the blog who are furious. Anna Duggar also is angry, according to Hollywood Life .
Anna interpreted the Duggar family matriarch’s blog as a slam at Anna that Josh was unfaithful because his wife did not meet his sexual needs. Josh cheated on Anna with two different porn stars, but she feels that her mother-in-law is blaming her rather than her son.
“At first Anna blamed herself for Josh’s wandering eye, but now that’s she been away from him and has been getting support from her own family, she’s starting to realize that she is NOT to blame,” said the insider. “In fact, she’s gone from feeling sad to angry. And adding fuel to the flame, is Michelle’s recent sex advice. Anna thinks her words are a direct aim at her and they are passive aggressive and hurtful.”
With all those antics, Law & Order: SVU has decided that the Duggar family is the perfect fodder for their show, reported Salon .
The episode will air November 4, and takes its plot from the some aspects of the Duggar family history, with enough changes to make it fiction rather than a biography. Called “Patrimonial Burden,” the episode will show the SVU cast looking into a well-known reality TV family whose secrets gradually become known.
“[The cast will uncover] an unraveling web of secrets when the virtuous 13-year-old daughter of a famous reality TV family discovers she’s pregnant,” revealed NBC.
Although SVU has previously taken plots from the news and used them in episodes, Peter Scanavino (also known as Detective Carisi) revealed that he especially was eager to have the Duggar family’s exploits featured.
“With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters,” noted Peter.
The actor revealed that he also was angry at what he termed Josh’s hypocrisy, lies, and displacing responsibility.
