Joe Giudice has reportedly stepped up for his family as his wife, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa, serves a 15-month sentence for bank and wire fraud.
Although there had been reports claiming Joe may be unable to fill the shoes left by Teresa, a source claims he’s doing the best he can with his four daughters, Gia, Milania, Gabriella, and Adrianna.
“With their mother gone, the four girls are totally dependent on their dad now,” a source close to the family told Radar Online on January 13.
“[Joe Giudice] is doing the best that he can with all of them. Teresa always did most of the parenting so it’s a huge learning curve for him but he’s doing everything he knows how to do to keep the girls happy.”
While things are good at home, Joe Giudice is said to be a bit worried about how his wife is holding up behind bars — and how he will make out when it is his turn to serve his 41-month sentence.
“Obviously there aren’t any secrets about Teresa, not even behind bars, and that is worrying Joe about his wife for their future and even for his own prison sentence.”
Last week, reports claimed Joe was planning to visit his wife behind bars, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Now, he’s planning, once again, for his and the girls’ first visit.
“He will just go with the children alone and make sure it is a family affair.” ?
As the Inquisitr reported shortly before Teresa entered prison, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was allegedly “ panicked ” over the idea that her kids would be left in Joe Giudice’s care.
“Teresa has become so desperate, she’s now considering giving her kids to friends!” a source revealed to Life & Style .
“Teresa’s friends know he’s useless and have offered to take the kids. The trouble is, no one can handle four extra girls for that long.”
In recent months, the Giudices have been plagued with rumors regarding a possible split, but a source set the record straight in an interview with People Magazine last month.
“There’s no truth to the rumors. It’s not happening. They’re not getting divorced.”
“[Teresa] and Joe are okay. They have a really loving marriage and have been together a long time. She’s known him for her entire life, and he’s been a part of her family circle since she was a young child.”
Joe Giudice will begin serving his 41-month sentence early next year after Teresa’s term is complete.
