A Washington teacher’s sex video with a student was caught by police, and Jessica Fuchs allegedly tried to delete the evidence in addition to telling the 16-year-old boy to lie about the whole affair. This plan backfired, and now the Bainbridge High School teacher is in even bigger trouble.
In a related report by the Inquisitr , a Florida high school principal was caught while partially topless with a student in a vehicle, but since the boy was 18-years-old, police could only charge her for smoking weed .
According to police, the teacher’s sex video was titled “For My Baby,” which featured the teacher masturbating while naked. The Washington State Patrol “was able to recover text messages between the suspect and the victim” which indicated that the teacher and the boy had a sexual relationship.
“The communication was sexual in nature and detailed sexual activity between Jessica Fuchs and the juvenile student victim. There was discussion regarding hugging, kissing, making out, having oral sex, and sexual intercourse,” according to the statement of probable cause in the case.
The boy also admitted that he and Jessica Fuchs had done “more than hugging and kissing” in the past. The teacher’s sex video was created on February 21, 2015. Two days later, school officials became aware of the relationship between Fuchs and the student, but the teacher began trying to delete all the incriminating evidence.
“As the police investigation begins, I found several texts about destroying the evidence of their relationship,” the WSP detective wrote in the report, according to the Bainbridge Review .
As an example, Fuchs allegedly told the student that he should lie to his parents and the police.
“Well, protect me as best you can. Remember NOTHING COMES OUT EVER! About anything you have been to my house only once. Like like you have NEVER lied before. And try to get your mom to side with you completely and say this was all a misunderstanding! And tell the investigator that!”
Police investigators say her school laptop’s search history included searches for “how to permanently delete cellphone records.”
School District Superintendent Faith Chapel said Fuchs was placed on administrative leave in February when the allegations first surfaced.
“It’s certainly unsettling and deeply disturbing to have these kinds of allegations with a former staff member,” said Chapel, according to KIRO .
Jessica Fuchs was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor, second-degree sexual misconduct with a minor, communication with a minor for immoral purposes, tampering with physical evidence and tampering with a witness. The bail was set for $100,000, and Fuch was scheduled to appear in court today, May 11, 2015.
