Jennifer Lawrence will don a body suit for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past .
Instead having her body painted from top to bottom for her role as Mystique in the upcoming sequel, Jennifer Lawrence will reportedly wear a body suit to cut down on blisters and set visits from a physician.
According to The Fan Carpet , the award-winning actress doesn’t seem to mind the change. Since the body paint required a doctor to be on-set during her scenes, the suit should take some of the stress out of the production.
Lawrence explained to E! :
“I’m so excited because I’m going to wear a body suit, It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters.”
Although filming on X-Men: Days of Future Past is slated to begin this May, Jennifer Lawrence hasn’t finished reading the script just yet. According to Total Film , her busy scheduled as of late has put her behind.
The actress added:
“I haven’t read the script yet. I haven’t had 30 minutes. They literally gave me the script and I was like, ‘I can’t read this until Monday.’ “
If everything goes according to 20th Century Fox and Bryan Singer’s master plan, then X-Men: Days of Future Past should arrive in theaters on July 18, 2014. As with most major Hollywood movies, this date is subject to change.
In addition to Jennifer Lawrence, the sequel also features James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, and Jason Flemyng. X-Men alumni Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, and Shawn Ashmore are also slated to appear in the flick.
Next up for the actress is director Susanne Bier’s Depression-era drama Serena . The film reunites Lawrence with her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper. The film is expected to open in theaters on September 27.
