Jeanine Pirro On Anti-Trump Protesters: Silent Majority Won’t Be Silenced [Video]

Judge Jeanine Pirro delivered a strong endorsement of free speech on her TV show and rebuked those who are attempting to shut down the Donald Trump political rallies during this weekend’s disruptions.

Pirro, a friend of Trump and a former judge and district attorney in the New York City suburb of Westchester County, as well as the 2006 GOP candidate for New York attorney general, is the host of Justice with Judge Jeanine on the Fox News Channel. She is also well known as a foe of Robert Durst.

In her latest “opening statement” on Justice , Pirro denied that Trump’s incendiary rhetoric was responsible for the Chicago chaos (as well as other protests in other cities) and slammed both liberals and Trump’s GOP presidential rivals for piling on with that storyline.

“Words do not justify violence,” she insisted.

Jeanine Pirro Says The Mitt Romney Anti-Trump Speech ‘Awoke A Sleeping Giant’

Did Mitt Romney Help Donald Trump Win Michigan?

In a previous epic rant, Pirro similarly argued that Mitt Romney’s anti-Trump activism on behalf of the GOP establishment and the other Republican presidential candidates actually resulted in the awakening of what she called a sleeping giant, aka the silent majority in America, who reject business as usual and favor an outsider for president.

A few days later, the voting on Super Tuesday 2 suggested that Mitt Romney’s anti-Donald Trump speech and subsequent like-minded media appearances may indeed have backfired against the GOP elites and possibly helped Donald Trump win the Michigan, Mississippi, and Hawaii primaries.

According to a Rasmussen poll , “only 15% of Likely Republican Voters say they are more likely to vote for a candidate [Romney] endorses.”

It remains to be seen if any of the Trump rally turmoil will affect the primary vote in tomorrow’s Super Tuesday 3, in which the key states of Florida and Ohio, among others, are in play.

A gun rights advocate , Pirro has previously used her fiery opening statement megaphone to call for the impeachment of President Obama for the controversial Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap, as well as for the Benghazi terrorist attack and alleged coverup.

In the aftermath of the cancelled Donald Trump rally in Chicago, where thousands were expecting the brash New York real estate mogul to speak, Judge Jeanine essentially accused the protesters of engaging in totalitarian censorship.

“Since when do you have the right to interrupt my First Amendment right to listen to a candidate for the highest office in the land? This is America. Not the Soviet Union. This is America. You cannot prevent me from speaking or listening. You cannot censor speech. Free speech is guaranteed. It’s why our Founding Fathers made it their very first amendment to the law of the land. It’s what distinguishes us from communist countries and totalitarian regimes. It’s why people risk their lives to come here…”

Pirro underscored her opinion that deliberate attempts to short-circuit Trump’s political events amount to circumventing the U.S. Constitution.

“You have the right to protest. Of course you do. If you want to dissent, dissent. Consider a blog, a tweet, hell, put a sign on your front lawn. How about you just vote for someone else. But in a civilized society, you do not have the right to interrupt or censor political speech. Let us listen and make our own decisions…The desperation of these anarchists is nothing more than an effort to suppress the protected rights upon which our republic was founded. This is America; you cannot stop us and you cannot silence us. Beware the sleeping giant — the silent majority of us. We will not be silenced.”

According to the Washington Times , the George Soros-funded MoveOn.Org group, which has endorsed Bernie Sanders for president, is trying to raise additional funds to orchestrate protests at upcoming Donald Trump rallies, which it has vowed to continue through the election season.
