Jay Z recently went on a Twitter rant, defending the success of his Tidal music streaming service, as reported by the Inquisitr . After those #TidalFacts, Jay Z announced he was giving away free concert tickets to some of his Tidal subscribers. That concert would be an “intimate” affair with Hov, and on Monday, May 11, those free ticket invites were distributed.
Check your emails. #TIDALXJAYZ invites are out to winners. Claim your tickets now, but print day of show. Give a shout if you got yours.

The shout-outs for the # TIDALXJAYZ hashtag on Twitter began rolling in with all sorts of funny responses from those who received the free concert ticket invitations.
“Congratulations, you are confirmed for the TIDAL X Jaÿ-Z B-Sides performance in New York City!”
My tweets gonna be super lit this sat #TIDALXJAYZ #NYC

Within the email notifications, users learned that the “TIDAL X Presents Jaÿ-Z B-SIDES” concert giveaway provided them with a code to visit TicketMaster and receive two free tickets to the concert, but they’d have to pay the price to get themselves to Hell’s Kitchen and for their own lodging.
Listening to nothing but Jay Z until Saturday night. Shouts to @TheJoshEldridge & @TIDALHiFi for being the realest in the game #TIDALXJAYZ

“This code will give you TWO tickets for you and your guest. Once you reserve your spot, you will receive confirmation but tickets cannot be printed until the day of show. You must bring your tickets with you for entry. Tickets are issued on a first come, first served basis, and only redeemable for one show, so please redeem your tickets as soon as possible. Travel is not included.”
The concerts will be held soon, in an “intimate” venue that holds up to 3,000 folks.
WHEN: Saturday, May 16 or Sunday, May 17. Doors open: 07:30 PM EST

kinda ironic that the “intimate” venue for the #bsides show is a 3000 capacity space. #tidalxjayz

Either way, the Jaÿ-Z B-Sides concert in all likelihood would include a surprise appearance from Mrs. Carter — that’s if “Drunk in Love,” “Crazy in Love,” “Tom Ford,” or any of their duets are considered B-side songs. Even if they aren’t, Jay Z is known as a smart businessman who knows how to bring publicity to what some claim is a fledgling streaming music service, so expect the “Bey-hive” to start buzzing.
