Janet Jackson is engaged. There’s a name you don’t see in the tabloids very often, especially after the death of her brother, the King of Pop, one of the most entertaining men in music, Michael Jackson.
Wissam Al Mana, Her billionaire boyfriend, apparently popped the question and the two are planning an elaborate wedding set for next Spring. I wonder if he used the song lyrics, “Sorry Miss Jackson … I am for real”. Yeah, that was cheesy.
Qatari billionaire Al Mana reportedly gave her a massively expensive ring on Christmas. Jackson is keeping it locked up so it doesn’t get lost, according to US Magazine . Now that is a practical woman.
An insider says the affair “will cost millions … He is flying in all of Janet’s friends and family on private jets [to Qatar].”
Al Mana is said to be getting a top chef to prepare the custom menu.
The source says:
“She wants kids. If she can’t have them, she will adopt.”
Jackson has been married twice before and divorced hip hop producer and rapper Jermaine Dupri in 2009, says the New York Post . She started dating 37-year-old Al Mana in 2010, keeping the relationship under wraps. In 1985, she had her marriage to childhood friend James DeBarge annulled.
Al Mana is the managing director of Al Mana Retail, and a shareholder in the Saks Fifth Avenue.
The Nutrisystem spokesperson, whose net worth is estimated at $150 million, was last spotted alongside the luxury-brand mogul in West Hollywood earlier this month, and in July the happy couple were laughing it up on a yacht in Sardinia.
