After nine women have come forward and accused James Deen of sexual assault, the adult film star is finally breaking his silence.
Aside from making a public statement on social media, James Deen, whose real name is Bryan Sevilla, has remained silent since former girlfriend and fellow costar, Stoya, accused him of rape in a series of tweets in late November. Stoya’s tweets gained popularity on social media, causing other women to come forward with their own stories about their violent encounters with Deen, most recently Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham. Evil Angel, the Frisky , Kink, and countless other entertainment companies have cut ties with Deen in wake of the sexual assault allegations.
Deen is opening up for the first time since the accusations grew. He told the Daily Beast that he’s “completely baffled’ by Stoya’s accusations. He said that his breakup with Stoya was “messy,” and he insists that they discussed about consent prior to their job or their intimate moments outside of the studio.
“There are public articles all over the internet, written by her, that make the exact opposite claims. She discusses how we communicated and how we were very careful with consent especially when involved with rough sex. What I do know is that Stoya and I did not have a clean break up. It was pretty messy, full of a lot of emotions and both Stoya and I are to blame for that.”
Deen also made it clear in the interview that he never claimed himself to become “the boy next door” or the “feminist hero of porn.” In fact, those were titles given to him by the media. When it comes to his discovered tweets that joke about sexual assault and rape, Deen stands by them.
“I think that finding humor in horror is a coping mechanism I use to accept that terrible things happen in the world. I’m not PC. But making a rape joke does not make one a rapist.”
The adult film star has previously said on social media that the “egregious” sexual assault claims are “false” and “defamatory.” But Deen says he has no plans for a defamation suit, and claims he’s not under investigation for anything.
“I want to remind people that I am not the subject of any lawsuits, I am not under criminal investigation, and at this moment I have no intention of filing defamation suits against false accusations.”
As previously mentioned, Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham claims that she was rapped, drugged, and abused by Deen. The incident left her so traumatized that she had undergone intensive therapy. Back in 2013, she told the Daily Mail Online that Deen was “abusive, pushy, and manipulative” over just the past few months that they were dating.
Now, she is giving her side of the story to the Daily Mail Online . Abraham didn’t want to go into detail about the alleged sexual assault, but she says she saw the signs early on in their relationship.
“James Deen raped me for his benefit of fame. He conspired against me with others that I thought were my friends at the time and that was very hurtful.”
Nicki Blue is speaking out again about her gruesome assault at the hands of James Deen. She said that the Daily Mail Online’s report isn’t even close the story she told. She claims that Deen’s friend, a female porn executive, had a hand in the assault. Deen’s former girlfriend, Princess Donna, film director and executive at Kink.com, held Blue down as the sexual assault happened.
Most of the sexual assault incidents happened at the BDSM adult film company, Kink. After the number of recent sexual assault allegations that involved Kink, along with four pending lawsuits against alleging unsafe working conditions , the company announced that it would review its policies to provide a safer working environment for its performers.
