The cast and crew for the next James Bond movie, Spectre , are still working, and has since moved on to Mexico. The movie, once again staring Daniel Craig as James Bond, will be the actor’s fourth outing in the long-running franchise. And like all his previous Bond adventures, Spectre will see Craig (now 47) showing everyone what he can do while donning the persona of the world’s best-dressed spy.
As reported by the Daily Mail , Craig has been seen recently filming some heavy action scenes that involve a few “gravity-defying stunts,” complete with the use of a safety harness, though not one that subtracted from James Bond sharp and sophisticated look. The action took place above a Day of the Dead celebration parade made for the movie, which included tons of extras dressed up as stylish skeletons.
Several blowup skeletons also got their time in front of the camera, which helped to further draw comparisons to the 1973 James Bond film Live And Let Die and the Mardi Gras celebration seen within — the first comparisons came following the reveal of the Spectre teaser poster, in which Bond wore an outfit that resembled Sir Roger Moore’s own in the aforementioned movie. The prop rifle Craig was seen running around with doesn’t warrant any comparisons of its own, however, though it’s probably safe to assume that it’ll be used in a similar fashion: against whoever’s out to stop Bond.

Last we heard about production on “James Bond 24,” it was about how the crew took to cleaning up Rome before doing any film shoots. Shortly following that, it was revealed that Mexico paid a lot of money for changes in the script , which would place the country in a more favorable position. At the time, Jonathan Glickman, president of MGM’s motion picture group said taking Mexico’s offer wasn’t about cheapening production, but rather a means to cut back on Spectre’s budget costs. This is also a contributing factor to the movie’s current filming location.
“We are currently facing a budget that is far beyond what we anticipated and are under immense pressure to reduce the number to $250M net of rebates and incentives. This is not about ‘nickel and diming’ the production.”
Spectre , directed by Skyfall director Sam Mendes, is set to release on November 6, 2015. Fans of Daniel Craig’s take on James Bond don’t need to worry about this being his last time with the character; as noted by Sunday Express, he’s still signed on to do one more .
