Justin Bieber chosen as a model to front an upcoming Calvin Klein underwear campaign?
Say it’s so.
Almost. What can be said for certain is that the Biebs has already filmed a photo shoot for the iconic brand, according to two sources familiar with the underwear giant’s dealings.
“Justin has shot for Calvin Klein, we hope the results will be released later this year,” Mail Online reports a source said.
More hopeful news for Bieber fans comes from E! News , who confirmed a source said he recently got up close and personal with a camera for a Klein shoot. Neither the brand rep or the Canadian star’s camp would offer the outlet a comment.
All of which suggests what many have mused, that Bieber will be soon be announced as a Calvin Klein underwear model as he clears his ongoing criminal cases and civil lawsuits — and providing nothing crazy happens, like ending up in jail .
E! notes last week the brand announced its fall 2014 season promoting Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear will merge in a global advertising campaign with model Lara Stone and male model Matt Terry. There was no reference to Bieber.
Despite this, the constant lack of a denial of Bieber’s involvement by the brand and his NYC trip in April where he was seen at a studio with Kendall Jenner , strongly hints at a future reveal of a campaign.
On March 14, Kendall, 18, posted an Instagram snap of herself posing in Calvins.
It was captioned: captioned: “morning! just going to hang out in #MyCalvins alllll day!… thank you @calvinklein for my little gifts (sic).”
Eleven days later Justin kicked off a Twitter riot when he teased the idea of doing a Calvin Klein campaign and asked fans for feedback.
It was a “yes.”
The one person who seems in no doubt as to his ability to tread Mark Wahlberg and David Beckham’s footsteps, is the “Baby” star himself.
Almost every selfie shows him boldy displaying his Kleins , and if there’s one celebrity who could both benefit from and benefit the brand — it’s Bieber.
Is Klein privately sweating Bieber’s teen missteps? Probably not, given Wahlberg’s early history.
At 15, a civil action was filed against Mark in two separate incidents for harassing African-American children (the first some siblings, and the second a group of black school kids on a field trip), by hurling rocks and yelling racial slurs. At 16, Mark attacked a middle-aged Vietnamese man on the street, and using a wooden stick knocked him unconscious while yelling a racial epithet.
That same day, Wahlberg attacked another Vietnamese man with pals, gouging out one of his eyes with a meathook . He was later charged with attempted murder, but pleaded guilty to assault and sentenced to two years in a Boston prison at the age of 17 — of which he went on to serve just 45 days, ABC News , Forbes , Vanity Fair and other sources report.
In another incident, the 21-year-old Mark fractured the jaw of a neighbor in an unprovoked attack.
It certainly puts Bieber’s egg-throwing, non-drag racing, partying antics in less hysterical perspective.
Last week, after returning from a day trip hiking in Runyon Canyon, Calif., Justin posted a gratuitous underwear selfie, in which he hiked his white tank top revealing abs and Kleins. No reason was given. But then, has there ever been?
Everyone’s favorite Canadian uploaded another photo of himself in black CK on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, in addition to provoking world world III in the badlands of Beverly Hills , Justin has been in the studio with pal and artist Cody Simpson working on something “special.”

To recap then: An all but announced Calvin Klein campaign , a Simpson collaboration, and the just released Collector’s Edition of The Key fragrance: Dare we say it?
The shape of things to come for Bieber, is tending optimistic.
