Joe Giudice is reportedly in talks to star in his own reality show. On April 2, E! News revealed reports of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s possible new series .
According to the site, Joe Giudice has been speaking to producers about a reality show, which would follow his life with his four daughters, as his wife, Teresa, serves time behind bars. The new project, which could also air as a special, would be filmed at the Giudice’s home in New Jersey and chronicle the struggles the family has faced with Teresa incarcerated.
E! News confirmed the series would be completely separate from The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s sixth season, which is expected to go into production in the coming months.
While Teresa was said to be aware of the possible Joe Giudice reality show, the site noted that she has not yet agreed to allow her husband and children to film. First, she wants to be fully aware of the details of the series. If she agrees, the Joe Giudice series could begin filming in “a few months.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Joe Giudice recently spoke about his wife’s possible return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey . Although Teresa will likely remain behind bars for the majority of filming on Season 6, if not throughout the entire season, she could one day return. However, Joe Giudice claims she’ll only get back in front of the camera if Bravo pays her well , which they likely would.
Speaking to Extra TV on March 31, Joe Giudice explained, “The numbers would have to be very big in order to go back so um, we’ll see… as of right now there’s nothing.”
Also during the interview, Joe Giudice said his wife was doing her best to stay strong behind bars, for the sake of the family, but as for how he’s been holding up, he admitted to cracking at times.
“When you have four kids you have to stay strong. Her being away definitely makes me appreciate her way more, a lot more, and you know everything she did.”
Joe Giudice went on to reveal that he cries about Teresa’s absence more than their four children, Gia, 13, Milania 9, Gabriella, 8, and Audriana, 3, and often breaks down after leaving their weekend prison visits.
Joe Giudice will begin serving a 41-month sentence after his wife’s 15-month prison term is complete early next year.
