The IRS scandal needs a special prosecutor because President Obama targeted conservative Tea Party groups “out in public,” or so says Steve Forbes.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , the IRS scandal has caused the Obama approval rating to drop quickly these past few weeks. Critics claim there is evidence linking Barack Obama to the IRS scandal , but Steve Forbes goes one step further.
Steve Forbes says an IRS scandal special prosecutor “needs to start from people right on the ground and go up the chain, right into the White House.” Steve Forbes claims President Obama told Democratic senators in 2010 to write letters to the IRS demanding investigations into groups linked to “tea party” or “patriot” organizations.
Steve Forbes even claims Obama wanted the Democrats to threaten the IRS if it didn’t respond as asked:
“You don’t have to be an Einstein to figure out the IRS is going to respond. And it did. It played politics on a scale we’ve never seen before. … He didn’t have to use secret meetings to do it; he did it right out in public.”
President Obama’s press secretary, Jay Carney, told reporters on May 20 that “there were line employees at the IRS who improperly targeted conservative groups.” But one of these IRS employeee, Gary Muthert, told the House Oversight Committee that he began singling out Tea Party applications at the request of a supervisor who told him that “Washington, D.C., wanted some cases.”
Reports are claiming many Washington-based IRS officials are starting to quietly retire as the IRS investigations continue. And the Obama secret email accounts are alleged to be slowing investigations.
Do you think Obama was involved in the IRS scandal’s targeting of political opponents ?
