We love our advertisers…well that how these sorts of emails usually open. I’ve not started to go out and sell advertising yet until we’ve got a month of traffic data under the belt, but we’ve been fortunate enough to sign our first advertiser:
The Metaverse Journal The Metaverse Journal is a site devoted to bringing an Australian perspective to virtual worlds. Launched in November 2006, the team believes that virtual worlds at the very least may bring a new approach to internet-based interaction, and we want to cover their evolution. Virtual worlds may provide some of society’s biggest opportunities and greatest challenges in coming years – it’s an area worth keeping informed about.
If you are interested in advertising opportunities drop us a line, still plenty cheap while the figures are raw.
We cant promise millions of page views at The Inquisitr, but we can promise the huge reach of The Simply Hired Network. For only $20 for 30 days, your job is advertised across the Simply Hired Network and also gets top billing at Inquisitr Jobs. We don’t only dislike walled gardens, we practice what we preach, great value in any language.
And thanks
And a quick thankyou to the many of you who are helping build this site from nothing. Subscriber numbers have passed the 2000 mark (about 2250 across the 4 feeds), page views look like a rollercoaster but are generally trending up, and participation since we’ve implemented Disqus is rapidly heading North. We always value feedback and we’ll have some new (and hopefully exciting…well I’ll find them exciting) announcements in the coming weeks. We’re also working on fine tuning the site a little in terms of load times and some issues that have arisen with IE7 (they can’t see the Q in the header ? ).
