Honey Boo Boo is so tired of being interviewed on talk shows that she pretended to fall asleep during a recent chat with Dr. Drew. According to the New York Post , the star of TLC’s hit reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo decided she’d had enough of Dr. Drew’s line of questioning. Instead of storming off stage or giving blatantly snark answers, Alana Thompson feigned slumber.
“Is it difficult to be on TV?” Dr. Drew asked Honey Boo Boo, who was clearly restless and ready to leave. Instead of answering the question, Alana pretended to fall asleep.
After some poking and prodding from her mother, the child soon sprang to life once again. However, her odd declaration probably didn’t settle too well with her legion of devoted followers.
“My fans come up to me and I hate it!” Honey Boo Boo boldly declared.
Not surprisingly, it didn’t take long for the promotional clip embedded below to begin making the rounds. The entire interview is presently slated to air this Tuesday, October at 9:30 pm EST on HLN.
In other strange Honey Boo Boo-related news, the reality television star was recently invited to train with TNA wrestling star Robbie E. TMZ is reporting that, while this may sound like a publicity stunt that will never come to fruition, the offer is apparently the real deal.
In an effort to coax Alana into the ring, D2W Pro Wrestling Academy owner and CEO James Pittaro has offered to fly the girl and one of her family members to New Jersey to get some professional training from a certified wrestling star. Given that Honey Boo Boo and her family are fans of the sport — they recently participated in an Alabama wrestling match — there’s always the possibility the Thompsons could accept the offer.
