Hillary Clinton is in a tough presidential primary race with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, and the space alien aficionado vote may give her just the edge she needs to beat out the Democratic socialist.
Clinton has already promised to “get to the bottom of the UFO mystery” if she’s elected president and her obsession with space aliens doesn’t seem to be going away.
John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign manager and UFO believer, told the USA Today it’s time for the American government to come clean and release any information they might have on alien life from outer space.
“The U.S. government could do a much better job in answering the quite legitimate questions that people have about what’s going on with unidentified aerial phenomena. The American people can handle the truth.”
For some voters, the existence of alien life and the truth about UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena is more important than domestic issues like health care and taxes or even American foreign policy. CNN caught up to one such group of believers in Nevada.
“When disclosure takes place, there’s nothing that we can do to change anything. Overnight, it will become a different life for everyone.”
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton first pledged to release classified government information on UFOs and truth about alien life during a December discussion with a reporter from the Conway Daily Sun.
“Yes, I’m going to get to the bottom of it.”

That wasn’t the first time Hillary gave a nod to alien believers, however; in fact the Clintons have a long association with the UFO aficionado community.
In 1995, Hillary was photographed with businessman Laurance Rockefeller while holding a book titled Are We Alone: Philosophical Implications of the Discovery of Extraterrestrial Life by Paul Davies.
Rockefeller had just spent the last two years fighting for an initiative to request former President Bill Clinton to release classified information on UFOs and the suspected alien landing at Area 51.
In 2007, former President Bill Clinton told Jimmy Kimmel he had spent time reviewing secret information about Roswell and Area 51 , but said there’s nothing to indicate aliens had visited Earth, reports CNN .
“If we were visited someday, I wouldn’t be surprised. I just hope that it’s not like Independence Day .”

Meanwhile, Hillary’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, is a well-known space alien and UFO aficionado who was personally responsible for declassifying hundreds of documents during Bill Clinton’s presidency. However, he was unable to secure the release of the UFO records despite trying again under President Barack Obama, reports the Daily Mail .
“Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files.”
While running Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, Podesta used his position to press the Democratic candidate to pledge the release of confidential alien files long believed to prove the existence of UFOs, reports the Daily Mail .
(Podesta) has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out, one way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51.
As Republican frontrunner Donald Trump continues to champion his idea of a wall along our southern border, the UFO aficionado community seems to have chosen its candidate for a different reason.
What do you think? Could the alien aficionado vote tip the voter balance in favor of Hillary Clinton?
