Harrison Ford said he wouldn’t mind coming back for another Indiana Jones movie.
Although Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is pretty much universally hated by fans of the franchise, the man who brought Indiana Jones to life on the big screen hasn’t ruled out the possibility of another movie.
Harrison Ford is currently at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to promote the adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s sci-fi novel Ender’s Game . Not surprisingly, it didn’t take very long for someone to inquire about the future of the Indiana Jones franchise.
When the folks at Hitflix asked Ford about the project, he revealed that he wouldn’t mind grabbing the whip for one more cinematic adventure.
“Would I? Yeah, I would be happy to do another. If we came up with a good script, I’d be happy to do it,” Harrison Ford explained. You can check out the interview below.
According to Worst Previews , Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, and Shia LaBeouf are patiently waiting for George Lucas to cook up a script. However, the Star Wars mastermind has yet to come up with a story worth telling.
Unfortunately for Indiana Jones fanatics, Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm may throw a monkey wrench into the franchise. Considering that not much has been said about the series since the purchase, it doesn’t appear the studio is in any rush to crank out another installment.
If Harrison Ford is looking for something to keep him busy until Disney comes calling, Sharknado director Thudner Levin said he wouldn’t mind casting the actor in the upcoming sequel.
“Who would I love to see? Harrison Ford and George Clooney. You know who I think would be perfect? Steven Spielberg and we could have a shark eat him. You know, ’cause he started all this,” the writer recently told Business Insider .
