Last night, approximately 19,000 die-hard Guns N’ Roses fans packed the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, to watch the band take over the city on their epic reunion tour. According to Entertainment Weekly , the question on almost everyone’s mind was whether or not frontman Axl Rose would be in attendance.
Rose, who isn’t especially known for his punctuality (in the first place), broke his foot earlier in the week. Since he had two strikes against him, it wasn’t known if he would actually make it. He did and, believe it or not, he was on time!

It was only the second time in over 22 years that original Guns N’ Roses band mates Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, and Slash played together onstage. It was definitely a concert to remember. Here are a few of the reasons why.
Axl still has a commanding presence . Some people may think Rose is past his early 90s prime, but he had absolutely no problem “working the crowd.” In fact, the Las Vegas audience was mesmerized by every word. When he told fans to scream for him, they did… through the entire setlist and triple song encore.
“November Rain” was more than a little bit magical. See for yourself.

Go-go dancers were everywhere. Yep, in this day and age, there might not be many (or even ANY) bands who appreciate go-go dancers as much as Guns N’ Roses do. Some might even say these dancers are totally tacky. Saturday’s show featured a multitude of appropriately-dressed dancers who preformed on elevated platforms while the band played.
Sebastian Bach made a guest appearance . Rolling Stone informs readers that the former Skid Row singer surprised fans by singing lead (along with Axl Rose) on “My Michelle.” As you may or may not recall, Bach frequently made guest appearances during Guns N’ Roses tours beginning in 2006.
Guns N’ Roses band members aren’t as wild as they used to be . But, don’t panic. There was still enough pyrotechnics for everyone! No underwear was thrown on stage, like the old days. There was no flagrantly noticeable drug use. But, there was fire. It shot up behind the band on several occasions, most prominently when they sang “Paradise City” and “Rocket Queen.”
As the Entertainment Weekly piece mentioned, the show was far from perfect. But, quite honestly, it didn’t matter. It was loud, nostalgic, and it featured a boatload of old hits. It goes without saying, Guns N’ Roses fans were more than a little bit elated.

The next stop on the Guns N’ Roses “Not in This Lifetime” tour is in Indio, California, at the 2016 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The date is April 16, barring any additional unannounced concerts.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , due to a long-standing feud between Guns N’ Roses band members Axl Rose and Slash, the two had not played together since July 1993. Their first public performance was in West Hollywood on April 1.
Are you happy Guns N’ Roses is back together again, even if it’s only temporary? Were you lucky enough to be at last night’s concert? Or, maybe to have tickets to one of the upcoming performances. Either way, feel free to leave any Guns N’ Roses-related feedback below.
