For those fans eager to start exploring Los Santos on PC, you’ll be waiting even longer now as Grand Theft Auto V has been delayed yet again.
Via a post on Rockstar’s Newswire , the GTA V developer has announced that the PC version of the game has been delayed until April 14. This is already after GTA V was set to release on January 27 and was pushed back until March 24 . In explaining the move, Rockstar said it was simply due to polish.
“Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC.”
Naturally, the Internet had a lot to say about GTA V being delayed yet again. Some were upset about the delay, while others were okay with it, knowing Rockstar will hopefully release a bug-free GTA to fans.

As a token of “goodwill,” Rockstar will be giving players who pre-ordered GTA V an extra $200,000 in GTA Online money. Grand Theft Auto V is being touted by the developer as the most “graphically and technically advanced version yet.” The Inquisitr took a look at some of the features that set the PC version of the game apart from its console counterparts.
However, GTA Online heists have finally been given an official date from Rockstar. Originally rumored to be releasing this week , Rockstar has announced the online game mode will come to GTA V on March 10. This is a feature that has been in the works since the original last-gen release in 2013. Heists are four-player cooperative missions that yield high reward for those involved if done successfully. While no info has been released on GTA V ‘s online heists, Rockstar has promised more information in the coming weeks leading up to the launch.
With the state many games in 2014 released, many dealing connection issues ( Halo: The Master Chief Collection ) or downright being broken ( Driveclub ), it is refreshing to see companies actually care about the end-consumer experience. Grand Theft Auto V joins a long list of games that have been delayed more than once in order to achieve that extra level of polish, and hopefully when the game does release it proves to be everything PC gamers have hoped for.
