Grand Theft Auto Online ‘s glitches have moved beyond the garages. Cars aren’t the only things vanishing lately, adding to the pile of problems Rockstar has been dealing with ever since Grand Theft Auto 5 hit the shelves.

Yes, Rockstar’s latest blockbuster title has been riddled with problems since it was launched, from its install issues, which had a somewhat technical fix on the most part, to cars vanishing from their garages, as previously reported by The Inquisitr .

Grand Theft Auto Online ‘s launch had its own share of problems from launch, starting with the anticipated last-minute rush to grab enough servers to make it work for the sheer number of gamers who bought a copy of GTA 5 . Now there is an all new kind of problem with the online side of the game.

Apartments, money, rankings, and even characters, are vanishing. Rockstar has heard your cries and has offered some advice to help fix the Grand Theft Auto Online glitches. The problem usually revolves around online purchases and microtransactions, and the game’s developer is trying to see if the items purchased up to this point can be restored.

Rockstar says that when you buy something online and then shut off the game immediately, the items you purchased might not have been saved. They suggest that when you exit Grand Theft Auto Online , you first switch to GTA 5 Story Mode and save it from there. Also, if the game says the servers are unavailable, don’t hit “Retry.” When you retry without server assistance, you could lose character data such as recently purchased items.

Instead of retrying the servers, Rockstar says you should go once again to GTA 5 Story Mode and save from there. Also avoid making purchases with a temporary character, because changes, along with the character, will not be saved.

Rockstar is once again looking into a solution to Grand Theft Auto Online ‘s glitches with vanishing items and such. Be patient and they will have a fix update as soon as it’s ready.
