Christian video sharing site GodTube has taken $30million in funding from hedge fund GLG Partners on a $150 million valuation, according to a report from PaidContent. The site had previously raised $2.5 million.
GodTube is billed as the Christian version of YouTube and offers family friend video sharing with a strong emphasis on christian content.
The Dallas based startup launched in April 2007 promising technology to connect Christians for the purpose of encouraging and advancing the Gospel worldwide” and offers other services such as an online prayer wall.
